Round bath cleans up bathroom week
August 7, 2017
Traditionally one of the hardest, and most important rooms to design, bathroom week may have seen a few tears, tantrums and tiling terrors, but the end result was spectacular.
JOSH & ELYSE
Featuring the first round bath in Block history, Josh & Elyse kept the circular theme flowing in their winning bathroom with our Aksel Wall Bracket and LEDlux Express Maxi Downlights. Combining overhead lighting with a light over the mirror is ideal, as this will avoid unwanted shadows on your face.
HANNAH & CLINT
Although unfinished, the judges were impressed with the design intention of this space, and the mix of textures is right on-trend. Our Flair Pendants were perfectly placed for grooming around the mirror, and while we loved the warmth of our Elliot Squat Pendant, its placement in the powder room was a misstep.
RONNIE & GEORGIA
While the inclusion of the thousand-dollar speaker divided the judges, we thought the money would have been better spent on a feature pendant such as elegant Marcel Pendant in Smoke/Black.
WOMBAT & STICKS
Sleek, sophisticated and utterly original, this room was a picture of bathroom bliss. Our LEDlux Saba dimmable LED Wall Bracket was a great fit for the contemporary theme along with our LEDlux Ribbon Light Kit against the shower tiling gave this huge space much-needed warmth.
JASON & SARAH
Featuring the on-trend combination of copper and black, this room had a softness about it which was highlighted by the addition of the woven black pendant. Shop the look in our Pheonix range.
