3AW at the official launch of Beacon Lighting South Wharf

The new South Wharf DFO store was officially opened on Saturday 9th January 2010. To celebrate the opening, 3AW broadcasted live from the store from 11am to 6pm. Glen Robinson, General Manager at Beacon Lighting, also featured on the Big House program from 10am to 11am prior to the broadcast.

For the 2nd time Beacon Lighting has won D&B business award for the retail category; 2 years ago in 2007, Beacon Lighting was the category winner and the overall award winner. The awards which began in 1993, seek to promote, acknowledge and reward outstanding business achievement.
