As part of the National
Solar Schools Program, Government
grants of $50,000 and more have been
made available for 9,000 schools to
be more environmentally friendly by
becoming a Solar School.
To qualify for the grant, your
school must install at least one 2kW
solar power system, with the
remaining grant money, you can
upgrade to a larger size solar power
system, or build other energy saving
items into your package including:
- Energy Saving Globes
- Energy Efficient Light
Fittings
- Ceiling Fans
- Motion sensors
