Are you ready for lights out this earth hour?
15 March 2016
#Placeswelove is this year’s theme for Earth Hour, with the focus on protecting all the things we love about our beautiful Australian outdoors.
Show your support by switching off your lights for one hour on Saturday 19th March between 8.30-9.30pm.
Together, we can show the world that we’re serious about climate change and making a difference to how we use energy more efficiently.
What else can you do?
Aussies are already embracing environmentally conscious products such as LED lighting, which use far less energy than halogens. And because they can last up to 50,000 hours, you don’t have to replace them nearly as often – which dramatically reduces the impact on the environment.
Installing ceiling fans cuts your heating and cooling costs. And of course, using the power of the sun with a Beacon solar system gives you the ultimate energy efficient power.
