Body and soul retreat vs bachelor backyard

The battle of the backyards was on as the teams tackled two very different design briefs.

Toad & Mandy’s Pool Area in Hope Springs
What they did: Toad & Mandy introduced graphic splashes of navy which referenced the sparkling pool and made this area feel fresh and open.
Get the look: Draw attention to unique outdoor features while adding safety and security around an exterior with eye-catching wall brackets such as our Southampton wall bracket.

Jess & Jarod’s Entertaining Deck in Maryborough
What they did: A floating roof with a cluster of lights created a multi-functional outdoor room to suit all seasons in this raised decking space.
Get the look: Balance the heaviness of a largely timber palette with glass shades such as the Manor barn shades to create a softer outdoor ambience.

Chiara & David’s Beer Garden in Maryborough
What they did: Chiara & David raised the ‘bar’ by building a poolside bar, pergola and entertaining space from chunky timbers.
Get the look: Bring a colourful party vibe into any area with versatile lighting such as our DIY Festoon String lights, which can be exposed to all weather elements.
