Mid-century modern meets beach cottage in the semi-finals

In the most emotionally charged week yet, the teams brought light and love back to a tiny country cottage.

Mel & Dave’s Entry & Dining Room
What they did: Mel & Dave embraced warm metallics, which brought sophistication to the cottage.
Get the look: Define an open plan space with statement pieces such as our Orion pendant. When clustering lights in smaller spaces, choose simple glass pieces such as our Aksel pendants.

Chiara & David’s Kitchen & Bedroom
What they did: Chiara & David brought an eclectic mix of colours and textures to both their zones, perfect for a young family home.
Get the look: Don’t be afraid to play with a mix of trends! Classic pieces such as our Ando pendants are great for task lighting in the kitchen. While a cluster of our Harlow pendants in different colours creates a stylish nook.

Toad & Mandy’s Lounge & Bathroom
What they did: Referencing the warmth of the mid-century modern colour palette, we saw splashes of vibrant teal and mustard throughout both their zones.
Get the look: Add warm, metallic accents to your bathroom with layers of lighting such as our Santiso wall brackets paired with a cluster of Zinc pendants. In coastal areas, choose ceiling fans such as our Airfusion Climate which is built to withstand humidity.
