If you appreciate flexibility in lighting or love the minimalist look, track lighting is the ideal choice for you. Essentially, it's a surface-mounted channel that securely holds spotlights while providing them with power. Typically, the track is mounted on the ceiling, although it's also possible to mount it on a wall or beam. The power is usually fed to the track from the live end, but alternatively, it can be powered from any point along the channel using a center-feed track joiner.
Tracks come in various sizes, lengths, and configurations. You can connect track sections in a straight line, L-shape, or T-shape using connectors, or opt for flexible track joiners that can be bent to navigate curves. Through the artful connection, turning, and angling of the track, along with the strategic placement of spots at regular or irregular intervals, and even incorporating a mix of spotlight types, you can craft your unique bespoke lighting system for a stunning result.
