Delighted with our second of these lamps, we loved the lamp so much there was no contest on getting a second the same. It's a great reading light for the easy chair, easily accessed by frail aged relatives. The brushed chrome is beautiful and the base is both stylish and stable. It a very good purchase for the price, as so many very expensive standard lamps are much more expensive. Also.commend the online shopping experience at Beacon. Super efficient and a consultant kept us up to date withiut even having to ask. The delivery was super quick; I had this lamp 36 hours after order. - Could be improved!

Attractive brushed chrome reading lamp, good mix and match styling. Stand could be more stable and why, oh, why isn't the shade itself flexible a few degrees. After all, I presume it is mainly used for reading. From my research, there is a shortage of reasonably priced floor lamps that are unobtrusive and not ultra modern, that date quickly. - Mr.

An excellent light for reading but we put a 20 W CF in the two we bought for extra light.
