Summer at Home: Designed for Australian Living
Good design responds to place. In Australia, that means homes shaped by light, climate, and the movement between indoor and outdoor living.
Good design responds to place. In Australia, that means homes shaped by light, climate, and the movement between indoor and outdoor living. This season, our designers looked to the global move toward softer, more natural forms. The Summer Collection is built around curves, rounded edges and sculptural shapes - pieces designed with clarity, balance, and purpose to suit the rhythm of Australian life.
Materials matter
Every material was chosen with care. Textured glass softens light throughout the day, timber and stone connect to Australia’s love of natural finishes, and metal tones are brushed or burnished rather than overly shiny. These details give each piece a tactile, lived-in feel while still being timeless enough to last. It’s part of a broader design shift toward honest, natural materials that suit everyday Australian life.
Colour, finish, and atmosphere
The palette this season is subtle but fresh. Soft gloss surfaces reflect natural light, while muted tones of pistachio, aqua and soft blue bring calm without overpowering a room. Chrome details add a crisp edge where contrast is needed. These choices help create atmosphere: brighter finishes energise kitchens and living rooms, while muted tones set a more relaxed mood in bedrooms and studies.
Expanding to outdoors
Summer living in Australia always includes the outdoors, so our designers made sure the collection feels connected inside and out. Coastal-rated wall lights handle salt and sun, freestanding designs shape gardens and pathways. The same design language carries through so outdoor spaces feel like a natural extension of the home.
Fans to integrate in your space
Fans are central to the Summer Collection. Each one is designed to look as considered as the lighting, with finishes that match the broader palette and blades scaled to suit modern interiors. They deliver strong airflow and quiet performance, important for Australian summers where comfort is non-negotiable. Here, fans aren’t an afterthought; they’re part of the overall design.
The broader vision
International design directions play a role - organic shapes, natural materials, soft colour shifts - but the translation is distinctly Australian. Our focus is on how people here actually use their spaces: kitchens and terraces as social hubs, outdoor rooms that connect with interiors, and lighting that works with the abundance of natural light in our climate.
The Summer Collection brings these ideas together. Inspired by global trends and designed right here in Melbourne, each piece is made to feel at home in an Australian summer.
