What’s the difference between Forge Modern and Forge Heritage?

Forge Modern has clean, minimal lines, ideal for contemporary homes. Forge Heritage features softer curves and timeless detailing for a classic look. Both styles use the same internal components, so you can choose your preferred finish while maintaining consistent quality.

What finishes are available?

Finishes include: Matte painted options: black and white, Electroplated metal finishes: brass, aged nickel, bronze, and antique brass. Each finish is durable, easy to clean, and designed to maintain its appearance over time.

Can I mix and match colours and styles?

Yes! You can customise plates, toggles, and dimmer details across the Modern and Heritage ranges to create your own combination. This makes it easy to coordinate with your home’s style and décor.

Are the switches and powerpoints easy to install?

All Forge products must be installed by a licensed electrician, as required under Australian wiring standards. Once installed, they operate just like standard switches and powerpoints.

What makes Forge different from standard switch ranges?

Forge is built from solid 201 stainless steel, giving it a premium feel and long-lasting quality. It’s also designed for customisation, letting you choose the style, finish, and layout that best suits your space.

What does “1/2-way” or “intermediate” mean on switches?

A 1/2-way switch controls a light from one or two locations — for example, at either end of a hallway. An intermediate switch allows control from three or more locations. Your electrician can advise which is suitable for your setup.

Are the dimmers compatible with all lights?

Forge dimmers are designed to work best with Lucci Power LED dimmers.

How do I clean and care for the finishes?

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the surface. Regular light cleaning will keep your switches looking new.

How do I shop the Forge range on the website?

For convenience, we’ve created bundle SKUs that group the most popular combinations together, for example, a 1-gang Forge Modern toggle switch and matching plate in white.
