Returns Policy
Everything you need to know
Beacon Lighting offers a full refund or exchange for change-of-mind purchases. You can return your purchase within 30 days, or within 60 days if you are a Beacon Trade member. Just remember to retain your proof of purchase (receipt or website order confirmation email) as we'll need to see it when you make your return.
Should your goods be faulty or damaged upon receipt, we'll offer a full refund or exchange in accordance with our obligations under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) ("Act").
To the extent permitted by law, we:
limit our obligations and liability for the repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price of any goods;
are not liable for any contingent, consequential, or punitive damages arising in any way in relation to the use of any goods;
are not liable for any claim, loss, or expense incurred by any person resulting from the delivery, non-delivery, or return of any goods.
Customers can return faulty goods to any Beacon Lighting store with their receipt within the Warranty period for repair, replacement, or refund.
Where goods that are faulty have been installed, a Warranty Request Form needs to be submitted to the relevant supplier of those goods. An in-home warranty claim can be lodged by completing the online Warranty Request Form.
Please note:
Products may differ from those pictured on the website due to natural variations in colour/finish and scale of the image.
Products that have been installed cannot be returned for a 'change of mind' refund.
Clearance items sold in a box can be refunded if returned in their original box.
Ex-display items cannot be refunded. When you purchase one of these items, a store team member must write a comment on the receipt stating, "no returns".
How to Return Your Goods
1. Returns of purchases made in-store
To receive an immediate exchange or refund, return your items to any Beacon Lighting store within 30 days. You'll receive a refund or an exchange at the same value as the original purchase price. You must present a copy of your store receipt.
Ensure that your items are in their original packaging, haven't been installed, and are in a resalable condition.
If you are a Beacon Trade member, you can return your items within 60 days.
2. Returns of purchases made online
To receive an exchange or refund, return your items to any Beacon Lighting store within 30 days. You'll receive a refund or an exchange at the same value as the original purchase price, excluding shipping fees if you had your order home delivered. You must present a copy of your website order confirmation email or receipt.
Ensure that your items are in their original packaging, haven't been installed, and are in a resalable condition.
3. Return by shipping
To arrange a refund or exchange by shipping the goods back to us, please email our online sales support team at support@beaconlighting.com.au or call 03 8561 1599 (Mon-Fri 8 am-7 pm, Sat 9 am-6 pm, and Sun 10 am-6 pm AEST).
You'll need to cover the cost of return shipping unless your items were faulty or damaged upon receipt. Please pack your items securely in their original packaging to ensure safe transit.
