Everything You Need To Know
All our fittings have a minimum 12-month warranty, if installed by a qualified electrician (excluding globes).
Warranty period on all products starts from the date of purchase of the original product only.
Making A Warranty Claim
If you have purchased a faulty product, you can return it to any Beacon Lighting store with your proof of purchase, provided it is within the applicable warranty period. Depending on the circumstances, you may be eligible for a repair, replacement or refund.
For products that have already been installed
If your product has been installed and is experiencing a fault, please complete our online Warranty Request Form to submit a warranty claim. Our team will review your request and advise you of the next steps.

Warranty Period
The warranty period on any product starts from the date of original purchase, not from the date on which the product is installed, if installed at a later date. If any product is repaired, the warranty will be for the period below starting on the date of purchase of the original product, and not the date on which the product is repaired. If any product is replaced, the warranty on the replacement product will be for the period below starting on the date on which the original product is replaced, and not the date on which the replacement product is installed, if installed at a later date.

If purchased from, and/or installed by, a Beacon Lighting Trade member, the 2 year in-home warranty is extended by 1 year, giving a 3-year in-home warranty. | We provide a 2-year in-home warranty and a 7-year motor replacement warranty on all hard-wired Lucci or Fanaway fans that were purchased from 1st October 2022. Please note, labour not included on the 7-year motor replacement warranty. ^ Warranty only applies to hard-wired fans purchased from 1 October 2022.

Unless a product is labelled DIY (Do It Yourself), all electrical work must be performed by a qualified licensed electrician. Don't DIY
Additional warranty information
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You’re entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You’re also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The costs associated with a claim made against these warranties (i.e. postage) are to be borne by you.
These warranties constitute our entire guarantee. Except where otherwise provided by the Australian Consumer Law, all other obligations, warranties, both expressed and implied are excluded to the fullest extent allowed by law.
