Three Birds Renovations
We are delighted to partner with Erin, Bonnie, and Lana on their 15th house, #modernmallorca in honour of the classic understated Mediterranean style.
For their #house15, they take key Mediterranean design features - natural materials, breezy interior spaces, and an emphasis on indoor/outdoor living - and refresh them for modern Australian living. Join us as we follow the Birds from room to room and help them give this family home a luxurious makeover.

Dining room
This dining room feels fresh and modern with white walls, natural materials, coloured accents, and our statement Loft pendant. With minimalist detailing in bronze, Loft’s mid-century-inspired design pairs perfectly with the airy, understated look of the room. Did you notice the Mediterranean-inspired arched window?
First floor balcony
The team have gone for a timeless style in their first-floor balcony makeover, with the addition of the Seaside Escarpment exterior wall bracket. This stunning piece is crafted with solid bronze and alabaster quarried in Spain, which creates an elegant and understated ambience. The attention to detail and quality craftsmanship is evident in the understated glow it casts - a true touch of elegance.
Powder room + girls' bathroom
Earthy and understated is the theme for these powder rooms. Using organic shapes and eclectic features, the space is elegant and functional. Featured in the bathroom is the Tanimi wall bracket in a natural finish for a subtle glow. In the powder room, the Atlas wall bracket in bronze provides beautiful ambient lighting with cleverly placed slits and holes in the shade to allow light to seep into the room.
Second living room
There are no awkward bare spaces when floor lamps are at play! The team have styled this space featuring our Knoll floor lamp in black with a jute rope conical shade as the centrepiece, perfectly paired with a statement black chair and side table in natural textures. What an inspiring space to sit and reflect.
Main bedroom
Bedroom lighting should convey a message of warmth, safety, and cosiness. In this bedroom design, the team have used our minimalist Everest wall brackets with lightly textured warm chalk surfaces which pair perfectly with the natural elements of the room.
Staircase
Modern Mallorca indeed! The team used Tread step lights to subtly illuminate the stairs, creating a minimalist effect that is both timeless and stylish. This whimsical spiral staircase is the ideal blend of natural materials and lighting, with richly-grained wood offset by creamy white wall to create subtle contrast and visual appeal. This staircase is a great example of how to pair natural materials with lighting to create a unique and elegant look.
Guest quarters - ensuite
The curved and waved silhouettes in this beautiful guest room ensuite create an ambience of elegance and sophistication, which is perfectly complemented by the minimalist Atlas wall bracket lighting fixture. Each element, from the lighting to the gorgeous patterned floors, plays an important role in creating a space that is both eye-catching and inviting.
Front façade + pool
The team have outdone themselves with their final reveal. By skillfully incorporating details from their previous spaces, such as the tranquil blue of the dining room and the Spanish alabaster and bronze Seaside Escarpment light from the balcony, they have successfully created a cohesive Spanish casa. This stunning reveal is sure to impress.
