Investor Pass Terms and Conditions
Overview
We operate the Beacon Lighting Investor Pass program (“Investor Pass”) which is open to Beacon Lighting Group Limited retail shareholders in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below (“Terms and Conditions”). As a Retail Shareholder with an Investor Pass, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by any variations to them. Beacon Lighting Group Limited reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time without having to notify you and you must comply with the revised terms and conditions upon revision.
1. MEMBERSHIP
1.1 Eligibility
- 1.1.1 Membership for the Investor Pass is open to Beacon Lighting Group shareholders who actively hold minimum 500 shares.
- 1.1.2 Membership is exclusive to Australian residents
- 1.1.3 Membership is available to individual entity shareholders. Institutional and Nominee accounts are excluded from the program
1.2 Duration
- 1.2.1 Access to Insider Pass program is granted on a three-month basis. You must be an active shareholder at the time of three-month eligibility reporting, to maintain membership. Eligibility reporting is undertaken 1st January, 1st April, 1st, July and 1st October.

2. INVESTOR PASS MEMBERSHIP ACCESS TO TRADE PRICES
Eligible shareholders will gain access to special pricing by being a sub-member of the Beacon Trade Club, however, without accruing all benefits attributable to a full Beacon Trade Club member.
- 2.1 The Beacon Trade Club discount is valid for Investor Pass members only and is not valid for shareholders family or friends.
- 2.2 The Beacon Trade Club discount is at the discretion of Beacon Lighting Group Limited and is subject to change.
- 2.3 The Trade Club discount is off RRP and excludes Mammoth Fans, Amazon, Google, Philips Hue, LIFX and IXL products. IXL products are sold at 10% off RRP only.
- 2.4 Investor Pass members get an extra 5% off our lowest retail promotion price.
- 2.5 Shareholders with Investor Pass accounts do not accrue points for purchases and are not eligible for Beacon Cash. They only have access to these Beacon Trade benefits: special trade prices, free shipping on all orders and metro same day delivery.
3. TERMINATION OF YOUR INVESTOR PASS
3.1 Termination by you
You can terminate your Investor Pass at any time by notifying us in writing.
3.2 Non active shareholder
Shareholders must actively hold a minimum of 500 shares to be eligible. You will be removed from the program if you no longer meet these requirements at the time of the eligibility reporting.

5. COMPLAINTS
If you have any complaints about products purchased please contact the Beacon Lighting store from which you purchased the products or for online purchases visit beaconlighting.com.au/online-shopping/returns-policy and follow the instructions.
6. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising in any way out of the Inside Pass / Trade Club.
7. GENERAL
- 7.1 The termination of your Investor Pass membership will not affect any provision contained in these terms and conditions of sale which expressly or by implication is to become operative or continue to operate after your Investor Pass membership is terminated.
- 7.2 No agent, employee or representative of ours will have any authority whatsoever to bind us to any affirmation, representation, warranty or condition concerning the Investor Pass and these terms and conditions of sale unless such affirmation, representation, warranty or condition is specifically included in writing within these terms and conditions of sale.
- 7.3 All notices, requests, consents, approvals or other communications given under these terms and conditions must be in writing and may be signed and delivered by a party to the other party by email to the party's email address as notified to the other party and will be considered to have been received if sent by email, on receipt by the sender of confirmation on its computer that the message has been delivered.
- 7.4 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in force in the State of Victoria and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that State and courts competent to hear appeals from those courts.
- 7.5 The provisions of these terms and conditions of sale will be separate and severable from each other to the extent that if any provision or provisions are considered to be inoperative then the remaining provision or provisions will be binding on and enforceable by the parties.
8. DEFINITIONS
In these terms and conditions unless the context otherwise requires:
Beacon Lighting store or Beacon Lighting stores means an Australian Beacon Lighting store or stores participating in the Investor Pass shareholder program operated by us, details of which are set out on the Beacon Lighting website - beaconlighting.com.au
Beacon Lighting shareholder means any person determined by us according to our eligibility criteria to be an Investor Pass member, as varied from time to time by us at our discretion.
GST has the same meaning as that word is given in the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (as amended). Investor Pass benefits means the benefits available to you as member of the program, as varied and notified by us by email from time to time.
Investor Pass membership means a membership of the Investor Pass program, on these terms and conditions. You or your is a reference to the person who is assigned to the Investor Pass.
We or us or our is a reference to Brightlite Nominees ABN 13 322 464 749 of 5 Bastow Place, Mulgrave, Victoria 3170 and, where applicable, includes Beacon Lighting franchisees who own and operate any participating Beacon Lighting stores and our employees and assignees.
9. INTERPRETATION
In these terms and conditions unless the context otherwise requires:
- any agreement, warranty, representation or obligation which binds or benefits two or more persons, binds or benefits those persons jointly and severally;
- headings and the table of contents appear for convenience only and do not form part of this agreement.
a reference to:
- the singular includes the plural and vice versa;
- a person includes an individual;
- “including” in this agreement means “including without limitation”;
- any thing or amount is a reference to the whole and each part of it;
- “$” or “dollars” is a reference to the lawful currency of Australia;
- examples are descriptive only and are not intended to be exhaustive.
