  • Beacon Lighting will book the electrical contractor and advise you of the installation date and time that is suitable to you but must be during normal weekday hours.

What’s not included

  • The fixed price covers the installation of the wall switch provided in box. If this switch is to be replaced with another switch either new or existing, this may incur additional charges
  • Conversion of a wall switch-controlled ceiling fan to a remote-controlled unit would require additional wiring and therefore is not included under this fixed price replacement service but would be considered a new installation

  • The incoming product can only be installed in the same position and with the same connections/configurations as the outgoing product
  • If for some reason your new ceiling fan can’t be installed on a like for like basis, additional items may be required to complete the replacement at an additional cost. This will require your approval prior to commencement
  • Pricing for any additional works should be negotiated directly with the electrician and additional payment should be made directly to the electrician
  • At the completion of the replacement service, there may be some pre-existing issues that become visible such as drill holes, ceiling scratches and scuff marks. The repair of such issues does not fall under the replacement service terms as new products can vary significantly in dimensions
  • Any specialist equipment or tools required for installation, e.g., scaffolding or scissor lift, will incur an additional charge and will need your approval in advance
  • Installation of Mammoth brand ceiling fans
