This week was a rollercoaster! With materials arriving late, tradies running behind, and teams hustling to finish major parts of the renovation just in time, stress levels were through the roof. But after a sleepless night before judging day, everything came together beautifully. Check out the stunning results!

Lara & Pete's Belrose Home

Lara & Pete's dream of creating a coastal home with a Mediterranean vibe comes true this week! The room is filled with natural materials and textures, making it bright and inviting.

Living room

The Byron pendant, inspired by coastal, laid-back living, fits perfectly in this airy space. Plus, the uplighters add even more light to the design, enhancing its warm and welcoming feel.

Dining room

The Mediterranean-style dining room got mixed reactions from the judges. They agreed it’s not perfect, but most of the details are well thought out. We absolutely love our Calido pendants above the dining table as the ultimate nod to Mediterranean style – and they’re made in Spain, which makes them even better!

Kitchen

We love how they've added texture with their lighting choices, using pendants made of natural fibers like rattan. It seems the judges agree! They praised our Byron pendant over the kitchen island, calling it “off the Richter.” The judges also appreciated the lighting, noting it was lovely and not overdone with the Mona wall brackets and Nevada track spotlights. We couldn’t agree more – this is exactly what great lighting design looks like!

Laundry

The Byron pendant carried its charm into the “laundry with a vibe,” thanks to the incredible work by tradie brothers Rhys and Liam. They created another stunning space that’s understated, well thought out, and perfectly hits the Mediterranean brief.

Bathroom

The judges were wowed by the master bathroom, with its beautiful colors and textures coming together to create a warm, inviting space. While they weren't huge fans of the placement of our Gypsum ribbed pendants, we love how their subtle sculptural design perfectly complements the bathroom's contemporary style.

Master bedroom and walk-in robe

Rookie renovators Brad and Mel tackled the master bedroom, and the judges were impressed! It’s like a hotel room in Greece, featuring natural elements like a tree and stone, complemented by natural jute pendants that the judges loved. The judges were also delighted with the lighting placement in the walk in robe, where the team used strip lighting throughout. A true Mediterranean master suite – they absolutely nailed the brief!

Jacinta and Jordan's Punchbowl House

Glam is back on Dream Home in Jacinta and Jordan's space! They briefed in an elegant room with wooden floors and crisp white walls, and the teams delivered beautifully. We love the cheerful brass details throughout and the bold choice to install our Multiply pendant in the living space. What a showstopper!

Living room

The judges raved about this stunning living room, calling it nice, lush, full, cozy, and warm. The team absolutely nailed the brief with opulence and decadence in every corner. We’re especially thrilled with how they used our Multiply ring pendant in brass to halo the living space – such a decadent choice that’s perfect for the room!

Ensuite

The judges felt this space played it safe and didn’t quite hit the mark for the opulent, glam brief, although it’s still a well-put-together room. They incorporated our Parker drop pendant in brass next to the mirror for that opulent touch, and we think it fit in beautifully!

Dining room

Bang on brief! This dining space is layered and lush with that glam factor that really wows. We love how the warmth of the detailed stone backdrop is carried though with the opulence of the Orray pendant in aged bronze. The luxe vibes continue with the Helix floor lamp in brass – as the judges say, more is definitely more!

Master bedroom

Larra and Pete brought the glam to the master bedroom! While the Corbelle pendant has the sleek lines and timeless appeal that perfectly suits the brief, we agree with the judges that a more showstopping piece would have hit the mark better in this space. Check out a range of chandeliers here (link to chandeliers with crystal)!

The real showstopper was the walk-in robe, where the lighting received rave reviews. Larra and Pete did a fantastic job, proving just how impactful thoughtful lighting can be, even in small, detailed spaces.
