Three Birds Renovations
We’re proud to partner with Three Birds Renovations on their 12th house – Contemporary Cottage.
Bonnie, Lana and Erin are back and they’re doing what they do best – changing the ordinary into the extraordinary. The setting is Windsor, a historic town north-west of Sydney and House 12 is a cute but dated cottage, home to mums Sarah and Cath and their two sons. With the family handing over their keys, budget and full creative control, the team is giving this modern family a modern update to their old home. Join us as we follow the team from room to room and reveal how our products are lighting up this Windsor family’s contemporary cottage.
Façade
Make an impression right at the entrance! This week, the team revealed the fabulous new front façade which displayed our Pebble wall brackets. The rounded, organic shape and the warm antique brass finish created the perfect welcoming look.
Bar
They continued the flow by using the Pebble lights to adorn the new bar and BBQ area which was fashioned out of an old shed. We can just see the family enjoying their summer in this space!
Dining Room
A modern family's dining space needs a modern statement pendant! Our Aiden pendant features a simple conical shade with beautiful wood grain detail and fits right in with the natural timber and texture vibe of this contemporary cottage. Oh, and how gorgeous is that arch?
Master Ensuite
Our Gypsum wall light feels right at home in this luxurious, curvy ensuite. It’s fashioned out of naturally occurring gypsum which perfectly complements the organic, neutral vibe running through this contemporary cottage. It's designed to radiate light upwards and downwards which makes the illumination a feature on its own.
Main Bathroom
Our Gypsum wall light features once again in the main bathroom complementing the glowy day spa vibes. Its two-sided illumination highlights the beautiful sage green tiles and gorgeous horizontal grout lines which were doubled in size to add visual interest. So dreamy!
Mustard Bedroom
This bedroom will make you want to be a kid again! The team combined mustard, brass, timber and rattan to create a bold and practical boys' bedroom which we absolutely love. They made a brilliant choice with our Smith lamp which provides task lighting for all those long study sessions and perfectly paired the unique wallpapered ceiling with our Georgia flush mount.
White Bedroom
Need some artwork for your kid's bedroom? Create one with lights! Play with our Disk wall lights and use one, two, three or more to create fun and quirky pieces of art like the team did in this bedroom.
Backyard
In their final reveal, the backyard was transformed into an entertainers' outdoor space with different zones: dining, BBQ, bar and lounging. We love how our Pebble wall lights add touches of charm throughout this space and seamlessly connect the backyard to the front façade.
